Among the 15 athlete we had competing in Bedford at the England Athletics U15/17 Championships two came away with titles.

First-up was Ameila Quirk in the U17 3000m wining with a new personal best and Club Record time of 9:38.53 which places her at number four on the UK 2016 list.

We hosted our first ever Quad Kids competion on Monday night, we had nearly 50 athletes who all Ran, Jumped and Threw for their points.

Following a silver medal perfromance at the English Schools on 9th July, Darcey got her England Schools Call-up for the Schools International on 16th July in Ashford (Kent).  Darcey follows a long line of Bracknell athletes to represent England at this event.

Looking for their fourth win on the trot, Bracknell Athletic Club were disappointed to finish second in their match last Saturday. Beaten by local rivals Woking, Which meant that Bracknell also relinquished their hold at the top of the Southern Athletic League. Their victors leap frogging above them, to lead Division Two West.
