Zak Seedon collected a silver medal in the 3000m Steeplechase at the British Athletics Championships in Birmingham on 4 July.

A small Bracknell Athletic Club team, travelled to Portsmouth on Saturday to contest their penultimate match in the Southern Athletic League. Heavily depleted, especially on the Male side, (only 13 intrepid Men made the journey), the Club did well to take second place and keep their promotions hopes alive.

Three new club relay records were set in the YDL fixture at Lee Valley today (21 June 2015). U15 boys 4x100 47.81, U15 boys 4x300 2:44.28, and U15 Girls 4x100 50.13.

In our first YDL season in the Southern Premier Division 2, & with one fixture remaining, I am delighted to say………WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!

At their Home match last Saturday, Bracknell Athletic Club were looking for their third successive win.  A hat-trick last achieved back in 2010.  Sadly it was not to be, for although winning. for most of the match, they were in the end, beaten into second place. Frustratingly, by the merest of margins, just five match points.

Rachel McClay broke her 800m record on 30th May with a 2:04.01 at Sportscity Manchester. Adam Thomas lowered his 200m record to 21.04 on Sunday at Bedford.

Following on from their success in their home match back in April, Bracknell Athletic Club, last Sunday, scored their first away win in the Southern Athletic League, since joining in 2013.  The combined Men and Ladies team. competing at Horsham won the Division 3S match by nearly thirty points.

Molly Kingsbury has been selected to represent Great Britain at the IWAS World Junior Games in Stadskannal, Holland between 2nd and 8th July this year.  Molly recently set the UK All time best for Long Jump in her category.
